Property Patrols for TLA members in March 2008 found numerous break ins at cottages and boathouses.  In most cases a door was smashed in to gain access.  It seems obvious that gasoline and alcohol are what the intruders were seeking however only a close inspection by owners will reveal what if anything was taken.  Owners affected have been contacted already.  If members wish to sign up for this service or have someone check out their property this month if possible contact us at tla@onlink.net.

Another distressing find was a totally destroyed snowmobile up on the rocks in the NW Arm.  Apparently these 'persons' found it amusing to tie down the throttle and let the machine go into the rocks.  The photo was taken only to identify the liscence number for the police hence the lack of perspective.
